Exploratory surveys and well site selection for drinking and industrial water supply in hard rock formations across southern and northern provinces of Iran are among the specialized expertise of this consultant and its collaborating experts.

In summary, the following steps are undertaken in water resource exploration projects by this consultant:
-Identification of geological and hydrogeological characteristics of the study area.
-Preparation of geological cross-sections for each site, general identification of water-bearing formations, determination of caprock and bedrock layers, and selection of potential suitable water supply locations based on conducted studies.
-Utilization of geophysical surveys for precise identification of these locations and resolution of potential uncertainties.
-Proposal of the required number of profiles and soundings, methods of execution, and arrangement of soundings based on the extent of water-bearing formations. This plays a key role in identifying aquifers.
-Analysis of geophysical results and examination of physical and geophysical properties, including layer resistivity, surface and depth extent, formation thickness, and depth of aquifer(s). Preparation of geophysical and geological cross-sections based on geophysical survey results.
-Recommendation of suitable drilling points for water supply.
-Provision of production well specifications, such as location, depth, drilling method, drilling diameter, well structure, and pump test procedures.
-Supervision of drilling operations and issuance of necessary instructions for drilling and well completion under optimal conditions.
